DAY 01: MUMBAI – SRINAGAR: SATURDAY, MAY 21, 2022

Arrive Srinagar’s Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport.
Meet our chauffeur at the Airport and transfer to the Houseboat
Breakfast at the houseboat.
Drive to Pampore and visit the Saffron Fields
Learn about the origin of saffron in Kashmir
Also complete shopping of Saffron and Dry Fruits
Leave on a guided tour to visit the excavated city of Avantipura
Lunch in a local restaurant
Evening enjoy a Shikara ride and shopping on the Lake.

DAY 2

DAY 02: SRINAGAR: SUNDAY, MAY 22, 2022

Morning after breakfast, check out of the houseboat
Visit Shankar Acharya temple and the three Mughal Gardens.

Arrive at Kargil and check-in at the hotel.

DAY 04: KARGIL – LAMAYURU – ALCHI – LEH: TUESDAY, MAY 24, 2022

Morning after breakfast leave for Leh
Enroute visit Lamayuru Monastery.
Lunch in an outside Restaurant.
After lunch leave for Alchi Monastery.
Arrive Alchi and visit the Monastery.
Leave for Leh. Arrive Leh and check-in at the hotel.
Evening visit the Shanti Stupa.
Return to the hotel.
Dinner and Overnight at Hotel, Leh.

DAY 5

DAY 05: LEH – SHAM VALLEY – LEH: WEDNESDAY, MAY 25, 2022

Morning after breakfast leave for half day sightseeing
Visit the Hall of fame Museum, Pathar Saheb Gurudwara and the Magnetic Hill (Photo Stop)
Enjoy White water rafting at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.
Lunch in an outside restaurant.
Evening at leisure for shopping.

DAY 6

DAY 06: LEH – NUBRA VALLEY (HUNDER VILLAGE): THURSDAY, MAY 26, 2022

Morning after an early breakfast leave for Nubra valley.
Drive from Leh to reach the Khadong la pass,
Continue your drive to Hunder.
Lunch in an outside restaurant
Arrive at Hunder and check in at the campsite
Evening visit Sand Dune and enjoy a bacterium camel ride
Dinner and Overnight at the Campsite, Nubra Valley.

DAY 7

DAY 07: LEH: THURSDAY, MAY 26, 2022

Morning after an early breakfast check out and leave for the Airport
Arrive Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh.
Leave for homeward bound flight. Tour ends.

Dal Lake

Shikhara Ride on the lake

A Shikhara is a traditional Gondola-type light rowing boat that is mostly seen on the pristine Dal Lake and now in other lakes in Srinagar. Along with the houseboats, it is also considered to be a cultural symbol.

Apart from leisure and tourism purposes, the shikhara is also used by the locals for seaweed harvesting, fishing, and transportation.
