Himalayan Swiss Holiday

Dalhousie-Dharamshala – the twin hillstation getaways in the Himalayas could give Switzerland a run for its money.   Both these destinations compete for tourists, but hey, in this package we are not asking you to chose — we are taking you to both ’em.   Magnificent weather and awe-inspiring landscapes of mountains, rivers and forests make for a peaceful calm refreshing and relaxing holiday in the hills.   With stay arranged in the most beautiful of locales, this is a holiday you don’t want to miss.

On our way back, we pay our homage at the  jewel of Punjab, the Golden Temple.  Also, there we explore Amritsar’s history, culture, handicraft, lip-smacking punjabi cuisine and gregarious bhangra cultural dance at an evening at the fun-fair.

Wagah Border

The Wagah Border visit to see the spectacular “Beating the Retreat” ceremony done jointly by the Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers since 1959- a spectacle which fills the heart of every Indian with pride.

Qila Gobindgarh

This by far is one of the most exciting and entertaining part of the tour.

Here you will be given a Special Welcome by a group of dhol players (Indian drummers) and dancers as per Punjabi Tradition.  You will also witness a special show with renowned folk dances of India -the energetic Bhangra, the vibrant Giddha, and the powerful Gatka – Sikh Martial Art that will both amaze and charm you.   The best is the famous Lion-Of-Punjab (Sher-e-Punjab) 7D Hi-Tech show that depicts the life and achievements of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji.  Also, you can see the stunning Whispering Walls Show (Kandha Boldiyan ne) – a Multi-Media sound and light show, with laser lights, computer animation, and Projection mapping technologies, with surround sound, that will mesmerize you as you sit in the historic open lawns of the fort.
