We have been in this travel and tour business for more than 30 years. Our forte and focus all these years has been group tours, especially student groups. The travel bug bit me when I was 18 years young but coming from a family of bankers, it was not possible to digress from the family profession, so I started as a banker with the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). In 1991, the bank with its 70 branches closed down due to a scam in London. It took another three years for State Bank of India to take over the Indian Operations, but by then I had organised and conducted outdoor training camps for students in Pune, a Senior Citizen Group tour to Goa; the Ice Manufacturing Association Annual Conference in Goa, and an Incentive (MICE) tour to Thailand and Singapore as Tour Manager for Cox and Kings. Having had varied experiences in a short time, I was also planning family holiday tours and Honey Moon tours for the newly married. I set up office in a business centre at Charni Road in 1992 and from there onwards began a long journey within India at first and then around the world.
