DAY 01: MUMBAI – CHANDIGARH – KASAULI: SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2027

Arrive Chandigarh’s Shaheed Bhagatsing Airport, meet our chauffeur and leave for Kasauli (57 km – 02 hours drive) Arrive and check in at the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon, explore the heart of Kasauli. Start your day with a leisurely stroll on the Mall Road, Kasauli’s vibrant main street. Admire the colonial-era architecture, browse the shops, and enjoy the pleasant weather. Visit  Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in Himachal Pradesh, dating back to the 19th century. Its magnificent cross-shaped structure is a testament to the town’s British founders. Head to Sunset Point to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the sun setting over the hills. Be sure to arrive early to find a good spot and capture the beauty. Return to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel, Kasauli. (B, L, D)

 

DAY 02: KASAULI: SUNDAY, MAY 23, 2027

Early morning leave to embark (hike) on the Gibert Trail, a short and peaceful hike offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. This is a must-visit for nature lovers and birdwatchers. Return to the hotel for a buffet breakfast. Later leave to visit Monkey Point, the highest point in Kasauli town. A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is located here. From this vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the plains of Chandigarh, the Sutlej River, and even the snow-capped Himalayan peaks on a clear day. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit the Kasauli Brewery, one of the oldest operational distilleries in India. Evening explore the local market for souvenirs and handicrafts. The Kasauli Tibetan Market on Lower Mall Road offers handicrafts, woollens, and hand-woven shawls. Return to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel, Kasauli. (B, L, D)

 

DAY 03: KASAULI – SOLAN – SHIMLA: MONDAY, MAY 24, 2027

Morning after breakfast leave for a full day excursion trip to Solan, Visit Barog, from here one can have a panoramic view of Churdhar Peak (3647 m) also known as the Mountain of the Silver Bangle. Merli Monastery, the first and only Bon Monastery in India. This monastery is the second oldest monastery in the world, Karol Tibba which has a historic value as Pandavas lived here during their ‘Agyatvas’ period.

Also visit the Mohan Shakti National Heritage Park, the park complex includes a garden and a large temple atop, has large two Om symbols and Surya in a seven horse chariot.  Proceed to Shimla (42 km – 01 hour and 18 minutes) Arrive Shimla and check in at the hotel. DAY 04: SHIMLA: TUESDAY, MAY 25, 2027

Morning after breakfast enjoy a full day guided walking tour at the Mall. Start by taking the Himachal Tourism lift to get to the Mall road.  You can walk towards the Ridge, a large open space that offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayas. Other places of interest at the Mall include Scandal Point, Bantony Castle, Gorton Castle, Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex. 

Also visit the Christ Church, a beautiful colonial-era church located near the Ridge. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon from Christ Church is a road going towards Jakhu Ropeway to get to Jakhu (Hanuman) temple.  Do go on the ropeway as you get an overview of the Himalayan mountains. Visit the Jakhu temple and also situated there is the Rothney Castle. Rothney castle was the house of A.O. Hume, who was a political reformer and a very knowledgeable ornithologist. When you return to Mall road, visit the Tibetan Markets and Lakkar Bazaar.  Return to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the Snow Valley Heights, Shimla or similar. (B, L, D)

 

DAY 05: SHIMLA – KUFRI – CHAIL -SHIMLA: WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 2027

Morning after breakfast leave for Kufri (14 km- 35 minutes). Visit the Himalayan Nature (also a Zoological Park) At an altitude of over 2,600 metres, this park is located amidst 90 hectares of temperate vegetation that forms a natural habitat for many animals of the Western Himalayas. Proceed to the Mahasu Peak (using ponies) Mahasu Peak is known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas. It’s a popular destination and offers a mix of natural beauty, adventure, and cultural experiences. The peak is accessible by walking through a cedar forest or by horseback riding. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon, begin your visit to Chail (30 km – 01 hour and 18 minutes) Arrive Chail and visit the Chail cricket ground, The ground is located at 2444 meters above sea level which makes it the highest cricket ground in the world. Also visit the Chail Palace, to know the history and architecture of the Palace. Proceed to visit the pristine Sadhupul Lake and later head to the Chail Market, for picking up Woolen garments and jams/jellies. Return to Shimla (29 km – 01 hour and 15 minutes. DAY 06: SHIMLA – MASHOBRA – NALDHERA – SHIMLA: THURSDAY, MAY 27, 2027

Morning after breakfast leave for a Safari in the Reserve Forest Sanctuary (08 km – 34 minutes) a must for wildlife buffs and nature lovers. (Safari starts at 10.00 am) The variety of fauna that inhabits the reserve are the Leopard, Rhesus Macaque, Barking Deer, Pine Martin, Musk Deer, Himalayan Yellow Throated Porcupine, Goral, Indian Sambar, Kashmir flying Squirrel and common Langur. Later visit the Presidential Retreat, (also called Rashtrapati Niwas) in Mashobra (12 km – 06 minutes) Visit the Presidential Retreat. The key attractions for tourists are the main building, enabling glimpses into the life of the Presidents, official dining halls and artifacts. Apart from this, the lush green lawns, curated tulips and other flower beds are also an added attraction. Take time off to visit Naldehra Golf course, one of the oldest Golf courses with beautiful and spectacle panorama with sloping glades and Deodar cedars all around. Also visit the Mahunag temple situated in the heart of the Golf Course. Leave for Shimla, enroute visit Craignano Nature Park, an Italian-style estate, known for its serene beauty and diverse array of activities, the park features a small lake, beautiful picnic spots and a charming treehouse. Return to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel. (B, L, D)

 

DAY 07:  SHIMLA – SOLAN – BHUIRA: FRIDAY, MAY 28, 2027

Morning after breakfast, check out and leave for Shimla Railway Station. Report at the Railway Station at 1000 hours. Leave for Solan on board the train no 52458 Shimla-Kalka Express at 1055 hours, to experience a ride on the World Heritage acclaimed train Arrive Solan at 1333 hours. Lunch in a local restaurant at Solan. Leave for Bhuira Jam factory. (48 km – 02 hours) Arrive at the Bhuira Jam Factory and see the process of making jams and also purchase a range of jams, apple, cherry, peach, apricot, plums and many more flavours being created. Check in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel, Bhuira (B, L, D)

 

DAY 08: BHUIRA – CHANDIGARH: SATURDAY, MAY 29, 2027

Morning after breakfast leave for Chandigarh (108 km – 03 hours and 30 minutes) Arrive Chandigarh and check in at the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon visit the Nek Chand Saini’s Rock Garden; it consists of man-made sculptures that have been made of scrap and waste material.  Also visit the Zakir Hussain Rose Garden a botanical garden with 50,000 rosebushes of 1600 different species. Evening visit the Sukhna Lake for a stroll and boating at the Lake. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel,  Chandigarh. (B, L, D)

 

DAY 09: CHANDIGARH –MUMBAI: SUNDAY, MAY 30, 2027

Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to take your flight for Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai. Tour ends. (B)
